Let me be the first to say: We LOVE working with startups.
Timothy Johnson has been building and architecting web applications on both the client side and server-side for the past 16 years. He first was an HTML and Flash developer, working in the e-learning arena for the first 6 years, then working as the go-to Flash-guru for agencies and web design firms. When Ruby on Rails appeared on the scene in 2004, Timothy switched gears to become a backend developer as well as migrating to Javascript (recently CoffeeScript, Backbone and Jquery) around the time Ajax was becoming the hot new thing.
Timothy actively manages the team at Found, while serving a dual role as UI/UX designer and Rails architect.
When you need to create a minimum viable product, and want to get something out the door and in front of users, you have come to the right company. There are very few companies out there that are willing and capable to work with the speed and skill that our small 3-man team can work. Joel West can work through design comps in photoshop while Tim and Kevin bang out a solid Ruby on Rails backend system to begin testing the user experience and viability of the software to meet the end-user’s requirements. Sometimes we bang out the first working version, ready to go in less than 3 days. Come pitch us your idea, and sit in our lounge while we roll up our sleeves and get to coding.
Sometimes you have an in-house team, or legacy code that needs to be looked over to see how it will stand up to adding new features. We will put our own staff of engineers on an audit of your codebase, and identify problem areas. Want more eyes? We have many developers that we work with outside of Found that are pillars of the software community.
